A typical day for Cesar begins at 4 AM, tending to the coffee plants, overseeing the cultivation, or managing the processing. After the cherries are harvested, they are collected in designated areas within the farm until an arriero passes by in the afternoon to transport them to the processing station.
Mi Bello Rincon is a family affair, with Cesar's wife, Luz Nidia, actively involved in the depulping, washing, and drying processes. Together, they prioritize sustainability by employing manual weed control methods and avoiding the use of agrochemicals.
Beyond their farm, Cesar and his family contribute to the community by supporting local schools and improving infrastructure. The biodiversity of Mi Bello Rincon delights with vibrant flora such as guamo and yarumo, while toucans, armadillos, and foxes grace the land with their presence.
