At the heart of El Reflejo stood Miller Hernández Aguilar. For 13 years, he had nurtured this land, transforming it into a haven for coffee connoisseurs. Miller's connection with coffee ran deep, tracing back to his childhood when his parents instilled in him the wisdom of the bean.

The farm flourished at an impressive altitude of 1590-1800 meters above sea level, painting a breathtaking landscape as far as the eye could see. Across 14.3 hectares, 8.5 hectares were adorned with meticulously cultivated coffee plants. Varieties such as Castillo, Colombia, and Caturra thrived under Miller's watchful eye, their aromatic leaves rustling with anticipation.

As the seasons changed, El Reflejo experienced its most magical time – the harvest. November to February brought a symphony of colors, as luscious coffee cherries adorned the trees like precious gems. Miller and his team embarked on a labor of love, meticulously handpicking the ripest cherries to ensure unrivaled quality.

To capture the essence of El Reflejo's coffee, Miller embraced nature's wisdom. Natural and honey processing methods were employed, infusing the beans with flavors that danced upon the palate. The cherries underwent a delicate 22-hour pre-fermentation, a ritual that unlocked their hidden treasures, tantalizing the senses.

With great care, the beans were laid to dry under the watchful gaze of the sun. Solar marquees provided a gentle warmth, coaxing the beans to reveal their true potential. Temperature and humidity were carefully monitored, creating the perfect environment for the beans to transform into a symphony of flavors.

But El Reflejo was not just a farm; it was a testament to family unity and community upliftment. Miller, alongside his wife, Emilce Gonzales, and their five children, breathed life into the farm. Together, they wove a tapestry of love, hard work, and shared dreams.

El Reflejo didn't exist in isolation. It was intricately woven into the fabric of the community. Employment opportunities bloomed during harvest seasons, offering a chance for the locals to be part of this coffee journey. The farm became a beacon of hope, contributing to the progress of the region.

For Miller, coffee was more than a beverage; it was a way of life. It represented prosperity, a future for his family, and a contribution to the larger world. His passion burned brighter with each passing day, igniting a desire to continue nurturing El Reflejo and crafting exceptional coffee for generations to come.
