Introducing Gerson Mora Ortega, the passionate coffee producer behind Villa Pastora, a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque Huila region of Colombia. For 25 years, Gerson has nurtured his 8-hectare coffee farm, located in the enchanting vereda of Sinaí at an altitude of 1,680 meters above sea level.

With 20,000 coffee plants spanning varieties such as Caturro, Tabí, and Bourbon Rosado, Gerson's dedication to quality shines through every harvest. Using innovative anaerobic processing methods and carefully controlling fermentation for 75-100 hours, he creates exceptional coffee profiles.

Gerson's coffee journey began as a family legacy, passed down by his grandmother. Today, alongside his wife, Fernanda, and their two children, Nicoll and their team of eight employees, Gerson ensures the farm thrives. They prioritize sustainability, avoiding chemicals and offering fermentation advice to neighboring farmers.

Villa Pastora's rich biodiversity adds to its charm, with majestic flora like black and pink cedar, bamboo, and rubber trees, attracting vibrant wildlife such as scarlet macaws and various bird species.

Gerson's ultimate goal is to share his labor of love with discerning coffee lovers worldwide. With each cup, he hopes to evoke appreciation for the meticulous craftsmanship behind producing a remarkable coffee experience. Join Gerson and his family on their coffee adventure at Villa Pastora, where passion and quality blend harmoniously.
